PENSA started in the mid 1980s when University of Education was ATTC that trained teachers to acquire diploma. Membership was about 15 as against the current membership of 556. The idea of the building a permanent place of worship for PENSA-UEW was born in 2003/2004 academic year as a result of the increasing numerical strength of the members in which the place of worship in the lecture hall could not accommodate all the members. The gracious hand of GOD led the leaders to purchase  one and a half plot of land on February 19, 2003 at a cost of six million cedis that is (GH₵600) under the able leadership of Elder Mathias Ntow K. The necessary documentation was done by the same year group.

The 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 year group did their best to defend and protect the land especially when the [plot came under some form of litigation.

Under the leadership of Elder Martin A. Ntiamoah, the 2005/2006 batch moulded a total of 1700 blocks to start the building. On 23rd April 2006, the sod-cutting ceremony was held to commence work on the project.

The 2006/2007 batch led by Elder Gyan Effah, the president, began the actual work from the foundation level.

The 2007/2008 batch took over the building from the foundation level and filled it as casting the floor under the leadership of Elder Dickson Agyei, the then Pensa President.

The 2008/2009 academic year group, led by Elder Kwaku Manu, also saw the vision of the project as an urgent one and worked harder to raise the building to an appreciable level.
Further, the current administration of the 2009/2010 batch, under the leadership of Elder Stephen Omesu Tetteh, Modified the original design of the building. The building was originally designed to be an auditorium with a gallery and a conference hall with offices at the top floor. The current design is an auditorium with the gallery and offices on the top of the platform. This modification, however, was done upon consultation and consent of the previous presidents of PENSA-UEW involved in this building project, the ITI-Travelling Secretary, Rev. Samuel Otu Appiah, the Youth Director, Rev. E. Kwesi Acquah, and the church of Pentecost Headquarters Projects Development and Estate Management. As a result the headquarters supported the work with a grant of forty thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵40,000.00). A mega fund raising was held to support the above stated amount that semester. We believe that this money raised as already have been invested into the project will raise the auditorium to the gallery level and beyond.

The auditorium is now roofed under the leadership of Elder Enoch Kwame Adjei serving form 2010/2011 to 2011/2012 (two terms in Office). Maga-fundraisings were organised and support from Pentecost headquarters help us to reach this level of the auditorium. During his time PENSA-UEW relocated from SRC-Top to this auditorium which has be a massive blessing for the church due to an increase in the number of other denominations, PENSA-UEW would have been running shift with not less than three of them every sunday. The building is left with plastering, windows and doors, floor and internal decorations.
